2015 Toyota Highlander
Many auto journalists like to point out how "vanilla" most Toyota vehicles are. And yes, when compared to some of the competition, Toyota's may lack some of the visual drama, and cutting edge features of their (less expensive) rivals. However, being considered "vanilla" isn't necessarily a bad thing. It is after all, the single most popular flavor in the world.
People like vanilla, because they know what to expect from it. And that's why Toyota has consistently been the single most popular import brand in the United States. Customers like a refined sense of familiarity, and Toyota gives it to them. Just like the 2015 Toyota Highlander. It's not a particularly exciting midsize crossover, and it can get a little pricy. But Toyota still manages to sell around 10k copies per month. Apparently, Americans do like their vanilla.
To understand why the 2015 Toyota Highlander is so popular, you really have to drive a few of its competitors. Once you've finally arrived at your friendly Toyota store, the first thing that you'll notice is just how comfortable the 2015 Toyota Highlander is. The seats, the driving position, the material quality, the layout of all the controls. It all works. Not in an "oh my gosh, I love it!" sort of way. But everything feels so intrinsically familiar and logical, you'll wind up muttering "I could get used to this".
2015 Toyota Highlander - What's New? Since the current Highlander is already a role model for other crossovers, they left the 2015 Toyota Highlander alone. They did however, shuffle the trim levels, and standard equipment around. Making this model year, slightly more value-ful.
